General
Form submission types are utilized to define the flow of a submitted form and determine the permissible status of the submission. They govern the back-office process for handling forms.

Notes:
Currently, no Change Requests (CRs) are supported for forms.
Forms are available immediately after publication.
Form Workflows
New Document Workflow
A new form undergoes a single internal approval step.
After approval, the form is released and becomes accessible to users.
New Revision Workflow
A new revision of a form also follows a single internal approval step.
After approval, the revision is released and replaces the previous version.
Form Submission Types
Purpose:
Form submission types define the flow of a submitted form, determine the allowable submission statuses, and govern the back-office process for handling forms.

Management:
In the Admin Console, form submission types can be created or modified.
Types can be assigned to one or multiple forms, defining specific parameters for visibility, status, and discussion participation.
Steps to Add a Form Submission Type:
Navigate to:
Definitions > Form SubmissionsClick + Add to create a new type
General Properties
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name of the form submission type |
| Description | Description visible only in the Admin Console |
| Target Group | User groups that can access and use the forms |
Status Definition
By default, three statuses are predefined:
New
In Work
Done
Additional statuses can be added by clicking + Add
Status Properties:

| Type | Type of status: In Work or Done |
| Discussion Group | User groups allowed to participate in discussions about submitted forms |
